Getting Traffic to Your Squidoo Lens Part 3
This part will be about getting in-house traffic, traffic from other lensmasters (lensowners). The traffic you get from other lensmasters may not be as target as other traffic you get. When that said, lensmasters often rank your lens and write a comment. Outside visitors often don’t know how to rank or are not members of Squidoo (you must be logged in order to rank). Depending on how you have set up your guestbook, non-members may not be allowed to comment on your lens.
The advantages is that when your lens will be among the Top 100 your lens will be included in a rss feed, a feed that many will add to their Google start pages and other RSS readers, Google loves an active website, your lens will be active, when visitors write in your guestbook and rank your lens. Your lens will of course also be active when you add RSS feed module, dual modules and other interactive modules. This will be covered in another post.
Back to getting in-house traffic
- Apply for membership of relevant group(s) at Squidoo
- Go to SquidU, introduce yourself and ask for a review
- Visit other relevant lenses, rank and write in their guestbook, if you really like the lens, lensroll it.
Using these techniques you should shortly see an increase in visitors.
You will find the lensroll feature to the left handside if your lens is *not* maxed, if it is maxed you will find it on your right handside; below a screen shot.

As usual, if you have any questions, just ask or leave a comment.
