Add 3 of Your Links to every of Your Own Lenses
OK, the headline may be bad English - but I don’t know how to put it elegant. What I want to say is this:
The other day I while I was updating my lenses I got a terrible fright: right below my intro module was added 6 new links to other Squidoo lenses. I learned it is called: “Explore related pages”.
Here’s a screen shot of it:

It is not that I do not want to link to other lenses, I certainly do that by adding to my favourites and lensroll. What I do like is to control which lenses. As an example I am into healthy food and don’t believe in any weight loss drugs, chocolate bars or whatever else these guys come up with. I simply don’t want those on my lenses.
You can turn the feature off if you like or you can control 3 of these 6 links.
I’ll test the latter method and add my own related lenses because it could give me more traffic from other lenses.
This is done this way:

- Go to edit module of you lens
- Click on the Edit buttons next to your Introduction module
- Click on “Discovery Tool” tab
- Radio button is set to On - you don’t have to change that
- Add your Squidoo lenses’ name in the 3 boxes.
There you are 3 free backlinks to your lenses and hopefully traffic from other lenses.
As always if you have any problems doing this ask me, either by writing in the commens for this post or use my contact form at http://squidoomagic.com/contact/
Enjoy

Ha! I did not know this. Definitely great info to know, and I’m heading to my Squidoo dashboard right away to check and fix, where needed.
Thanks a lot, Misha
Great post and certainly did not know this!
Thanks, once again, for a super heads up!
Like Misha, I’m heading over there right now.
