Getting Traffic to Your Squidoo Lens part 2 – Article submission

An excellent way to get visitors to your Squidoo lens (and high PageRank on Google) is to write articles and submit them to article directories.

What you do is write an article min 300 words. Write about your lens and link to it. (Don’t copy your lens, write about your lens from a new angle)

A warning: don’t write articles and submit the same article to 100s of article directories – you will get banned for duplicate content!

Then submit it to

http://www.hubpages.com I have really good experiences with this one.

… and sure to your own blog add the article there with the link to your lens.

You don’t have your own blog yet?

http://www.wordpress.com and sign up for a blog.

Write about your lens and link to your lens.

… and link to your blog from your lens.

Or get a domain name and create your own WordPress blog.

If you don’t know how to do this, just ask me. Either post a comment or use the form at my contact page

EnjoY!

PS. Yes there are literally 1000s of article directories “out there” http://www.ezinearticles.com is one of the good ones, however I have heard they have new rules, so it is very hard to get an article approved.
